Empowering Youth Through Knowledge
In early 2018, The Corinth’s Humanitarian Foundation (TCHF) recognized the urgent need for comprehensive reproductive health education among adolescents and launched an impactful Sex Education Program at Government Secondary School in Afon, Asa Local Government Area, Nigeria. This initiative was designed to equip young minds with essential knowledge and tools to make informed choices about their reproductive health while promoting community well-being through awareness and education.
Bridging the Knowledge Gap in Reproductive Health
Adolescents often struggle with limited access to accurate and culturally sensitive information about reproductive health. Myths, misconceptions, and societal taboos can lead to uninformed decisions and increased vulnerability to sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), unplanned pregnancies, and other reproductive health challenges. TCHF sought to bridge this gap through an inclusive, well-structured, and student-focused educational program that encouraged open conversations in a safe and respectful learning environment.

A key component of the initiative was its interactive nature. TCHF conducted a series of engaging and participatory workshops where students could:
